The Tidewater gets Polymer Slate.

I took a qDIY Blog Cabinuick trip to the Tidewater in Virginia yesterday to accompany Kate of Sensational Color for her interview with DIY's Blog Cabin. Check out the rehab of this fabulous bay home they are giving away. DIY blog readers chose DaVinci's polymer slate Brownstone blend to top the home.

Did you know that on the east coast it's typical to use oyster shells on driveways or in landscaping? I didn't but here's a picture of the mounds of oyster shells waiting to be crushed and used at the DIY house.

Thanks to Kate I got to see a little bit of Williamsburg and visit the College of William and Mary. We also had lunch in Yorktown at the quaint Carrot Tree Restaurant.
