Mardi Gras will be in full swing when roofers from across the nation arrive in New Orleans for the 2015 International Roofing Expo on February 24-26.
While street parties, parades and beignets may be a lure to get attendees to New Orleans, the real excitement will be happening inside the Morial Convention Center. And, booth #1357 will be a focal point of celebrating as DaVinci Roofscapes introduces its new Single-Width Slate 12-inch tile profile and new Smokey Gray color tile.
The new slate roof tiles from DaVinci boast a more authentic quarried look that accurately replicates genuine slate. Edges of the composite slate tiles have a more quarried look to them and deeper impressions in the tiles make them appear thicker, even though they're the same weight as the previous tiles. These stand-out refinements of the slate alternative tiles will also be seen this year on Multi-Width Slate and Bellaforté Slate tile profiles.
The other highlight of the DaVinci booth will be the showcase of 50 Shades of DaVinci --- with the company's newest color, Smokey Gray, launching.
The deep, rich blackish gray of Smokey Gray captures the look of real slate and reminds some people of a dark, stormy night or of charcoal. The distinct Smokey Gray color is now available as a standard color option in the DaVinci Multi-Width and Single-Width Slate simulated slate roofing product lines, along with the Bellaforté Slate line.
