Kate Smith, works with companies who are building a relationship with their customers around color. Smith helps them by creating compelling content about color that can be distributed in print, on air, online or via social media. Kate serves as a media spokesperson for many of her clients as well as for her own company. She regularly appears on radio, television programs and in print educating people about the importance of color on all aspects of their lives. Some of her recent work has appeared in House Beautiful, InStyle, MSNBC, Yahoo! News, Washington Post, Miami Sun Sentinel, Chicago Tribune, and the Boston Globe. Known as an inspirational keynote speaker and seminar leader, Kate has an approachable style and an ability to make complex ideas easy to understand. She has a gift for inspiring others to find their own color confidence and business skills. She trains both corporate teams and individual professionals and with her guidance, countless companies and professionals have increased their revenue by setting themselves apart with color information, tools and services.
Tim is Vice President of Technical Services for DaVinci Roofscapes and has 40 years of roofing experience, including cedar, asphalt, tile and slate roofing plus he owned his own roofing company for many years. Because of his expertise and high level of knowledge with premium roofing materials, Tim was brought onboard at the inception of DaVinci to assist with product development and eventually the launch of DaVinci Slate and Shake. Tim has in-depth knowledge of engineered polymers, steep slope roofing and the polymer tile market, and plays a key role aiding in the design and technical processes of DaVinci tiles. Currently Tim's job has him managing all of our products' testing and certifications, working on the Product Development Team, conducting installation training and meeting with contractors, and heading up warranty and customer satisfaction inquiries.
Megan joined the DaVinci team in the summer of 2004 as one of the company's first inside sales representatives. She has served several roles in the Sales Department, and in 2009 became the Marketing Program Manger, in charge of running the two programs tailored towards the professional, The DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor Program and the Architectural Program. Since 2009, the DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor Program program has more than doubled in both applicants and participating members, and a lot of her time is spent dedicated to working with new members on program education, helping members register jobs, writing project profiles for the DaVinci blog, and co-op marketing and tradeshow assistance. On the architectural side Megan works daily with architects and specifiers, educating them on all aspects of the products as well as working closely with the outside sales team on architecturally driven projects. Over the last few years she has launched two online continuing education courses and keeps all tools for the architects current and relevant.
