Slate roof tiles have long been favored by church designers, for two reason - their longevity and their traditional appearance. Steep structures, like steeples, can be difficult to shingle with natural slates as they are heavy and break easily. Manufactured slate tiles, like Bellaforté Slate, are lighter and easier to install, saving the church money on overall installed cost for its new roof.
Bellaforté Slate in the Smokey Gray blend was chosen for St. Teresa's new roof located in Sleepy Hollow, New Jersey. It was installed by CRO International out of North Brunswick, NJ. Thank you for sharing this project with us CRO International!
