From The Architect's Corner FAQ - What is Valoré?

I am frequently asked "Other than size, what is the difference between DaVinci Slate or Shake and Valoré?" Truly, besides the size, product wise, there isn't a difference. Both luxury roof options boast the same features:
  • Class A Fire Rating
  • Class 4 Impact Rating
  • Wind Certified to 110 mph (Click Here to see all testing information)
  • 50 Year Warranty
With DaVinci Slate (multi-width), the bundles are put together with slates in 12", 10", 9", 7" and 6" in width pieces. Valoré Slate is (simply put) the 12" tiles out of the multi-width line. The color blends are similar, with the blends from Valoré having a multi-width counterpart (e.g., Villa in Valoré is inspired by Castle Gray in DaVinci).

With regard to our composite shake line, DaVinci Shake (multi-width) comes in bundles with 9", 8", 7", 6" and 4" pieces. Valoré Shake is (simply put) the 9" tiles out of the multi-width line. Just like its slate counterpart, the color blends are similar, with the blends from Valoré having a multi-width counterpart (e.g., Tuscano in Valoré is inspired by Autumn in DaVinci).

So what is the main difference? Price! Our Valoré line is able to offer a more affordable steep slope roofing option for your clients.
