From the Architect's Corner - From the 2016 AIA Convention & Expo

We had a great day yesterday on Day 1 of the AIA Show in Philadelphia! We had tons of architects swing by and check in to see what's new and discuss their projects. Being that this year's show is located in the Northeast, the new, quarried profile Designer Roofon the synthetic slate roof shingles continue to impress those to want the aesthetics of a slate roof, but the structure can't handle the weight of the real thing. The three options, Multi-Width Slate, Single-Width Slate, and Bellaforté Slate are all a viable option for historic properties, universities, religious facilities, and government buildings that need a more regal look, but with the weight and performance of an engineered polymer tile. These three options are also offered at three price points, so incorporating a DaVinci Roofscapes' roof into a design is more realistic than many realize.

Also, we are currently in the middle of hundreds of Continuing Education seminars, so Continuing Ed is always a focus. We offer two free, online courses through AEC Daily each worth 1 LU through the AIA (and other providers).

Come by Booth #2523 today and tomorrow and see us!

Happy Friday, Architects!
