From the Architect's Corner - Mixing Two Products

There are many amazing features of our Bellaforté Slate. These lightweight tiles are our most cost effective product, they self-align for a fast installation, and they boast top performance ratings for fire, wind, and impact. Because of their self-aligning design, however, it can be difficult to maneuver the 12" x 15" tile around smaller or curved portions of the roof. The solution for this is to use our Multi-Width or Single-Width slate alternative on the parts of the roof where you need a bit more flexibility in design such as eyebrow windows, turrets or bay windows. These two products are not self-aligning systems so there is more wiggle room in pliability and cutting tiles to fit into a specific area. See photo examples below:

Bellaforté Slate on the majority of the roof, Single-Width Slate over the bay window.

Happy Friday (and Happy Halloween), Architects!
