Planning for a new roofing project involves plenty of preparation and organization to ensure that the cost doesn’t exceed the building owner’s budget. Funds must be available for roofing materials, labor costs, building permits and additional items necessary for completing the job.
The installed cost of our lightweight roofing tiles is typically less per square than natural slate in part because our sustainable roofing tiles are much easier to install than their natural counterpart. They can be installed with a nail gun, cut with utility knife and can be carried up on the roof one bundle at a time instead of one tile at a time.
Another cost saving method that DaVinci utilizes is to deliver all roofing bundles pre-collated. This saves valuable time and labor that would otherwise be used for hand sorting tiles. Thus, the entire installation has been simplified for the end user right out of the bundle.
Besides just the tile material cost of each roofing square, other budgeting considerations include roof pitch, exposure, underlayment and tile type and even roof shape.
