Snowguards and Fake Shake Shingles

If you live in an area where you get a lot of snow and ice, it is important to have snow guards on your roof, especially if you have a steep slope roof.

What are snow guards?  Snow Guards are devices you put on your roof that help snow and ice to fall off in small quantities or melt before falling to the ground.

Steep Slope Roofing with SnowguardsSnow guards installed at specific positions on your roof keep the snow from accumulating. Snow accumulation eventually leads to the snow sliding off in a huge chunk, so snowguards' presence leads to constant melting of the snow and ultimate disposal of the snow in a risk-free manner.
