Huh? Polymer Roof Tiles?

DaVinci Slate AberdeenSo you've heard of polymer roof tiles, but you're not exactly sure what they are?  A polymer is a chemical compound or mixture of compounds formed by a chemical reaction in which two or more molecules combine to form larger molecules that contain repeating structural units.

So essentially, polymer roofing tiles are plastic roofing materials that are chemically created to stand up to different weather conditions that it is exposed to - hot, cold, wet, dry, etc.  A polymerized roof tile enables the manufacturer to create a proprietary blend of chemicals that makes the roofing tiles less susceptible to weather ailments like sun, freeze/thaw, etc. than their natural counterparts.

In fact, plastic roofing materials are much more cost effective than their natural counterparts, like slate and shake.  Because they are virtually maintenance-free, embedded with state-of-the-art UV stabilizers, have passed wind resistance, impact resistance and other industry standardized tests and are easy to install, DaVinci Roofing Tiles are sustainable roofing.

Polymer roofing is also advantageous because it ends up creating an environmentally friendly roof.  Because DaVinci tiles resist curling, cracking and fading, mold, algae, fungus and insects under normal conditions, they do not have to be replaced; whereas, their natural counterparts frequently require a tile or two of replacement over the lifetime of the roof.

DaVinci's tiles are truly revolutionary and as a result, offer homeowners, contractors, architects and builders authentic colors and textures of their natural counterparts but without the headache.  Please feel free to contact one of our sales contacts to learn more about our products and to see a project with our tiles in your area.
