Bellaforté tiles by DaVinci Roofscapes come with many advantages that make them a popular choice for business and homeowners in search of an elegant roof that will last for decades. Like our other tile profiles, Bellaforté fake slate and shake have high ratings for fire (Class A), wind, and impact (Class 4). In addition to being available in a huge variety of colors and color combinations, they are also easy to install.
For great Bellaforté installation tips, be sure to read roofing expert Tim Gentry's blog. When we first introduced Bellaforté tiles, we recommended a straight, horizontal installation and a defined vertical pattern. This seemed to be easiest since each tile has a ledge on its back that sits on the tip of the tile below it. The vertical pattern seemed tougher to do but feedback from contractors showed that a random vertical pattern was also easy and looked great!
Tim also talks about steep slope installation with toeboards in this post. The process is similar to installing snowguards on Bellaforté tiles and he also shows how easy it is to retrofit a roof with much needed snowguards.
