Technical Specifications: Bellaforte

When it comes to green roof construction, the use of high quality imitation slate tiles has been used to minimize the environmental impact of the construction. It is no longer necessary to look for costly slate tiles nor is it necessary to import products from International sources.

The use of green roof systems does not mean compromising the design and the appeal of a home. In fact, there are many times that the differences between the real and the fake tiles are difficult to determine.

BellaforteOur Bellaforte slate products are one such tile, and they allow you to create and select your own colors depending on the requirements of your home construction.

Our popular colors include:

  • Cambridge
  • Milano
  • Sabino
  • Sedona
  • Slate Black
  • Slate Gray
  • Verde
  • and Villa

For our Bellaforte slate products, our one-piece hip and ridge bundle is composed of 10 pieces and covers 10 lineal feet. Our rake bundle has 20 pieces for covering 10 lineal feet. The 12-inch starter has 20 pieces per bundle and can cover 20 lineal feet. We also have the transition pieces at 10 per bundle, which can cover 10 lineal feet.

When you go with a straight coursing, at a roof pitch of at least 4” in 10” and an exposure of 12 inches, the construction may require you to use to 100 shingles per roofing square. According to our calculations, each square will weigh 182 pounds.

Although marketed for their performance, color variations and style, our Bellaforte tiles are a cut above the rest. They are also available in EcoBlend colors that will reduce your heating and cooling energy consumption.
