Tornado Season Is In The Works

DaVinci SlateDid you know that DaVinci Roofscapes is based in Kansas?  Well, then it probably comes in no wonder why we are so aware of tornado season.

According to the Weather Channel Online, tornado season happens in the Spring and lasts from April to July - with May and June being the worst months.

So we are now in one of the worst months, and therefore your roof, if it doesn't pass a high wind rating is susceptible to the high winds and sudden bursts of wind that happen during a tornado.

Fortunately, we have created a product had can withstand the tornado based winds.  Wind speeds in tornadoes can be anywhere from 72 to almost 300 mph.  However, only 2% are greater than 200 mph.

You'll be glad to know that our Bellaforté imitation slate roof, can handle the other 98% since it can handle Hurricane Zone Force Winds up to 175 mph according to an Independent laboratory test. Our Bellaforté has received Miami Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) and has also met Florida Building Code (FBC) qualifications.

If you'd like to learn more about Bellaforté, please contact our customer service department with any questions you have.
