Today is National Museum Day — a day to shine a spotlight on the many impactful museums across America.
At DaVinci Roofscapes, we're proud that our synthetic roofing materials have been installed on several prominent museums across the country (see Museum Rooftops).
Now we're also excited to announce that our Bellaforté Shake tiles in Autumn-VariBlend will top off the roof of a major feature of the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center opening on Saturday, June 10. Located in Overland Park, Kansas, this center will open a new Johnson County Museum. The museum's "1950s All-Electric House" exemplifies the American Dream many sought in new suburban communities in that time frame. The home was built by Kansas City Power & Light in 1953 to tout the innovative advantages to electric living. (See Museum on the Move)

We're especially pleased to donate our innovate synthetic shake roofing materials to this project because it's right in our backyard. The Johnson County Museum will include KidScape for children of all ages, guided tours, family programs, art classes, theatre and so much more.
Happy National Museum Day to everyone — especially to our new neighbors at the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center!
